This restaurant is excellent. we visited twice in the 5 days stay in perugia and it took our prestigious last night slot. sylvia is the boss. She is a 5 foot tall diamond. she welcomes everyone and ensures that they know everything about eating in the offer. I loved the fact that sylvia took time to get to know us. where we were from and why we chose them against. it was real. arek is her man and he makes the wein. there is an extensive selection, but make sure that they weep the Umbria region, which generally do not see in Britain. we had several bottles and everyone was exceptional. 20 to 25€ see a very good bottle. eating is wonderful. never met the cook or his team, but they deserve a mention. take a punt and try what sylvia proposes. many favorites with several local Umbria dishes. they enjoy the joy of them to enjoy the food. the favorites were wild boar gnocchi and fried aubergine with tomato and minze sourdough brot is baked daily and very tasty. service was mainly on the terrace outside with space inside if it rains. the place was spotlessly clean. stella is about 10 minutes taxi from perugia. no problem. it is worth visiting from many restaurants that are only for tourist. a taxi is approx. 25€. a call or email will be answered in the regular late afternoon. Don't think it's open for lunch. all in all our best restaurants in Italy. Five stars. well made sylvia and arek.

Better than the best there is no lack of restaurants of all kinds in italy. what makes this better than the best? love and passion are the most important ingredients to have a great restaurant. local in-season ingredients, simple and elegant meals, and an unbeatable selection of weeps perfectly paired by the in-house sommelier. a firm for your eyes, heart and breath! cozy ambiente with breathtaking view over perugia. a great waiter who is attentive, patient and cordial. my only qualm? I can't go too often!

Rare and tasty ingredients that are cooked on a non-nonsense wise. from the grilled aal to the famous Fiorentina steak, everything is worth the price. the wine list is full of hidden gems.

The most authentic local kitchen. I am Italian and came here for an international conference and could not stand the city center tourist sites. a local friend recommended it. I loved it!

Delicious food, delectable wine, stylish rooms. A perfect place to spend a day or few.
