Osteria Borgo Fe - PERUGIA

Really well prepared Italian food, no nonsense and delicious. The outside terrace is beautiful and was buzzing with atmosphere.

The restaurant is located in an old countryside villa which has been recently restored, the looks immediately recall ancient cultures and culinary traditions. You can sit both inside or in the well-kept outdoor garden (strongly suggested in the warm seasons). The menu offers a variety of authentic local dishes and local wines, of very good quality. The portions are big and the prices are cheap, as a real Osteria should be. The surroundings are quiet and you can have a nice conversation both indoor or outdoor. Finally, the staff is friendly and the owners are very caring, reinforcing the feeling of being in an out-of-the-way intimate Osteria. Definitely suggested to both families and couples.

Lovely restaurant and excellent food and service. Beautiful traditional umbrian building. This is the area if your a meat lover as it's excellent. Good fish and vegetables. Pasta is all home made and amazing

On the advice of friends who had dined there, we got the house appetiser dish and had no room left to eat pizza as we'd planned. Everything was delicious and faithful to the cuisine of this area. The staff was especially cheerful and accommodating. The setting is also gorgeous. We'll be back!

The local hotel receptionist recommended this very local restaurant and it turned out to be a super find.The charming young Albanian waitresses we're most attentive and one spoke good English and helped us with our selection. It was so good that we have been on 2 consecutive nights. Coming from the direction of San Martino in Campo proved challenging without GPS and even more so returning at night! We particularly liked the home made taglietelli with fresh mushrooms and the beef with pink peppercorns. The prices are fair and it does get busy with locals which is always a good sign.
