We were looking for a place where we could eat well stay fresh and spend equally well, we found this lovely place fresh with friendly people and available with great food and wine even more good, we will definitely return.

A wonderful surprise with fabulous cuisine!we were headed up on the hill side to another restaurant. I saw their sign on the way up. The other was closed so we went back. A prefixed menu with 4 courses very reasonably priced. Absolutely delicious! I highly recommend i! The woman in charge was very friendly and personable!

My family and I ate here in February. It was cold and rainy outside, but the atmosphere inside couldn't have contrasted more! It was warm and inviting, offering comfortable seating for a family of 7 (or more) as well as intimate seating for 2. It is family owned and operated. The family members cook and serve the food. The meat is cooked in the fireplace just to the left as you walk in the door. And, oh my, the food was nothing short of FABULOUS!!! I would eat here again and again!!! It's a fixed menu. Everyone eats what the kitchen prepares so call ahead to see what's on the menu. If you want to immerse yourself in the culture don't miss this Italian family meal experience!!!!

On recommendation locally we called in for dinner. There was no menu but many different courses were brought to the table . They were all cooked beautifully and ranged from cold meats to beans in sauce, fresh pastas, BBQ and salad and cakes. Wine and water throughout with a sweet wine to finish. I think it's around £25 a head. Well worth a visit in a long relaxing evening
