You can’t go wrong with a local ice cream place. This is the gem of Peru! Parking: There is parking near the pizza side.

Always packed, but quick service! Fresh fruit and toppings for whatever you order! And their Pizza... Yessss!

It's hard to believe it's been 6 years since our last review of this local gem. What's not hard to believe is that this is still a Peru (and our) favorite spot to treat oneself. We're also still fans of their pizzas; especially on Wednesdays, when they have their special offers. Life's too short not to occasionally indulge oneself; and this is a great option to satisfy that craving.

Our family each has a favorite but be sure not to miss their banana split in the cup, turtle sundae, and strawberry shortcake! September brings a favorite flavor of pumpkin! New this year is the ability to pay with plastic for a 3% additional charge if cash if not in your pocket.

We had a Supreme Pizza, and it was excellent. I will be back!
