Shimizu Japanese Cafe - Perth

My friend and I had dinner late one night at Shimizu Cafe in Northbridge. I had the Ramen and my friend had the Donibori. The Donibori was exceptional. A very nice new place to eat.

Went here with a group of 4 friends, plenty of space to sit. We ordered 6 dishes, including a coco curry udon, Naruto ramen, sushi roll and assorted tempura. Portions were good, we were all very full by the end of our meal. Unfortunately I didn't get that many photos of the food. Food quality was average to above average. I liked the tempura and the coco curry was great too. Service was extremely pleasant, but food took a little time to come out, but once it did it was presented quite well. Free WiFi is also available.

Lovely casual little Japanese restaurant. Sushi is fresh and well presented cooked food portions are very generous so a great place to go if you have a big appetite. Standard of the food is excellent, very delicious and you don't have to wait very long for service or food. Wait staff are very helpful and attentive.

The waiter and waitress here give great personal service and attention to the customers. Prices of the food are reasonable around $11-$14 for a Donburi and if you want to convert that into a Bento Box with potato chips, sashimi, etc. then you add an extra $5. Competition is intense with one Japanese and another Korean-Japanese restaurant close by. Having eaten at the other restaurants and making a comparison, have to unfortunately say that the food here is just average.

I have come to place many times, thrice in one week actually and i am very impressed by their servings, service, price and of course FOOD! The restaurant
