I like this place! carillon upstairs food court has good options (gangnam and newton) and it's usually quick to get your food and easy to get a seat. food at gangnam is really good, the meat has a great bbq taste. bento and fried rice meals are really yummy but quite oily. bibimbap is a good option if you don't like oily food. all under $10 (fewer options at this price range in the cbd...), with a couple of other meals slightly over

Today I decided to have lunch at Gangnam in Carillon city. I got Kimchi and pork fried rice. The service was quick and the staff are friendly. It only took me for 10 mins waiting for my food. The food was ok and a little bit oily.

I have been to Carillon upstairs foodcourt many times but never tried Gangnam until a colleague suggested we should go and try. Food photos displayed looks very appetising and decent priced. So after contemplating for 15mins as everything sounds nice, decided on the spicy pork bento. Nice and cheap at $9.90.

I wanted a delicious and warm meal in the city today and stumbled across this one as recommended on Zomato. I placed my order for a prawn bento and stood back to watch the other orders come out. Every meal served looked delicious, very generous, and fresh (you can see the open kitchen). Menu prices are excellent averaging $9-12 per meal, my prawn bento being $11.50 . When my box came out I was delighted to see 4 crumbed prawns along with a variety of pickled and fresh vegetables, a spring roll, and bowl of miso. I would've preferred the prawns and miso a little bit warmer but apart from that I enjoyed my meal. Totally recommend if you're after some fresh and fast Korean at a decent price ????????

Wanted to try their YukGaeJang soup but they dont do it anymore :( So I picked Eel Bento instead. It comes with miso soup. Meat and vegs were nicely put on rice. The bowl looks deep but it's actually shallow. I wished there're more eels. Prawn Tempura & Spring Rolls were crunchy. Seaweed Salad and 2 types of pickles were tasty. They also put a cherry tomato & a small fishcake. Not bad for a $11 meal.
