Ramen Ichiraku - Perth

We returned for our second visit to this restaurant! This time, we ordered the Gyoza and Truffle Tonkotsu. The Gyoza was juicy and delicious, and reminded us of Xiao Long Baos in Gyoza form. It could have been grilled longer for added crunch and form, but it was still tasty. The ramen noodles were once again cooked perfectly. The aroma of the truffle was lovely, and the addition of truffle oil worked well. However, compared to the Red Dragon and Signature dishes, it was a bit more bland. We were disappointed to find out that the Red Dragon level 4 and 5 spice levels were sold out even though we arrived early! The service was efficient and attentive, and the restaurant only takes on what they can handle. Overall, an awesome place!

Love that there are ALOT of vegan choices. I enjoyed everything I ordered! Faux chicken karaage (Japanese fried faux chicken served with vegan kewpie mayo), korokke (mushrooms and veg with vegan cheese n tonkatsu sauce) and lotus chips

The Ramen was not too bad. I had the Red Dragon, it was only just warm in temperature (temperature of the food not the chilli instensity). I did not ask them to heat the dish up because I wasn't sure if it is meant to be served at that temperature. It was definitely cooler in temperature compared to the other ramens ordered for our table.<br/ <br/ The coating of the fried matcha ice cream was really nice. The matcha ice cream was light and had only the slightest matcha taste. <br/ <br/ There was a little bit of confusion about paying the bill. The note on the counter says that they take AMEX but the cashier said they don't. We ended up paying with a different card but mentioned to the cashier about the sign. The sign needs to be corrected, if it hasn't already.

This place is awesome!! Great ramen and great ambience. A must visit especially for vegetarians and vegans. Great service also. Was pleasantly surprised!!

A unique offering at this restaurant is their truffle tonkotsu ramen, a dish not commonly found in Perth. The ramen was incredibly delicious, and I also enjoyed their watermelon soda. The service was quick and the staff were friendly. Overall, one of the best ramen spots in Perth.
