Cucina on Hay - Perth

Not a bad meal but certainly not the best we have had on this trip. The staff were not overly helpful and we had to second guess what to do and how long things would take to be delivered. No one tlod us our roll and wrap were toatsed so when we got our coffeee and no meal we were totally usure of what was happening.

I met a friend here because it was close to her office. Had a couple of drinks, no drama, and decided to grab a pizza to take home for the fam. My friend had a loyalty card and so I could get both pizzas for the price of one. Sweet, considering they were $18 each. There is no way I can describe the smell that came off this food when we opened the boxes. We had to close one straight away because we gagged when we opened it. We had a go at the second pizza but we had to spend so much time pulling the excess congealed cheese off that we gave up. I could kind of get over this EXCEPT when I saw my bank statement a couple of days later I saw I had been charged for two pieces of "food". When I rang to check it out I was asked to provide a copy of my bank statement as well as my credit card details so it could be emailed to "someone". I said I was happy to give my details to the person who would deal with it but not for it to be emailed around. Waiting to see...In short: Perth/Northbridge has so many amazing places to go, I would avoid this like the plague. Which, ironically, may smell similar to their pizzas.

It was raining and we wanted a lighter breakfast so tried here.The atmosphere was a bit flat and staff were not exactly full of the joy of spring but we persevered.Food was pretty good, I had the paleo breakfast which was nice.Nothing memorable in any way

Having dined at Cucina a number of times, the food has been very good. You have to try the gnocchi and on a certain day they have roast with vegetables. The restaurant is small but you can get a table.

After seeing some yummy looking pics in Instagram we went down for dinner. Had a gf pizza n the oso bucco. Delish. The restaurant was a bit empty and lacked atmosphere however I would go back. I liked its simplicity and humbleness.
