Food In The Park - Perth Kinross

Overpriced- £17 for 2 tiny wines and a pint of Tennant Lager all served in plastic glasses served by an unsmiling barman.

I was highly impressed with all the suppers we purchased from 'Food in the Park '. We were there on what must be the busiest night for this business, with a non-stop queue of hungry scouts and their family and friends. Despite the numbers of orders that were given to them they ran a well organised and smooth service with the best fish and chips I have had in a very long time. Service was polite and prices were fair for the quality of the food. Anyone observing the sheer numbers of people queuing would understand that the long wait for freshly cooked food was unavoidable, but the end result was well worth the wait. Well done to a small team of staff who worked seamlessly as a team together to supply the masses with minimal signs of stress, good manners and a smile.

All 12 pizza 's £15 each. Terrible experience, pizza 's are wafer thin not enough tomato sauce, nearly no chicken, meat or cheese on any of the 4 pizza 's we bought. Paid over £60 for this order as we also paid £4.50 for a bag of chips . Avoid and drive somewhere else for your food. Reading previous reviews the, stock answer to a bad review seems to be why did you not come and tell us? my answer would be. I have more to do with my time that wait in you excessively long queue just to tell you the food was poor and vastly over priced. Why not just give your customer quality food at a reasonable price ?

A chip standard fish and chip shop. Menu came on QR codes which is a bit boujee. The only downside was no gravy? Just wanted a pie supper but no gravy. Portions were good and filled us up. Nice and fresh as they cooked it whilst we waited, toilets nearby.

We needed something to eat on a long journey home so decided to stop here as it seemed decent from the reviews. When we arrived, the ordering and collection point is a tight, narrow counter which is rammed full of people both ordering and serving/cooking. It seems like chaos but it is actually complete organised chaos...! Our food was sorted pretty quickly for how busy it was and how far away our number seemed from the current one being served. We were a little sceptical but actually, the pizzas tasted great and the kids had loads which is the best review anywhere could ever have...! The best and most unexpected part was the large beer garden and bar out the back. What a great place to sit and drink whilst eating. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area and decent prices too. Not sure the bar would work if it was lashing it down right enough but the beautiful, clear sunny night we had, it was perfect...!
