I wish there was an option for 4 3/4 stars because I only had 1 minor complaint. I was driving out of the shore and was looking for a place for lunch when I found this quaint Puerto Rican restaurant that reminded of those hidden gems you would find in PR. I got the Cubano and Pernil sandwiches. My daughter loved the Cubano and said it was flavorful. I had the pernil sandwich and my only complaint was that it needed mayo or a garlic sauce because I felt the sandwich was a little dry. The pernil was seasoned perfectly and was delicious. I was so angry with myself for only ordering one alcapurria because it was outstanding. It wasn’t dry or overcooked. Definitely will be stopping here again.

If you are looking for authentic Puerto Rican food, this is the place. The food was amazing as well as the service. They speak both English and Spanish so feel free to stop by to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner.

I give up with this place! The food is very good, but the treatment of customers is TERRIBLE! From the moment you enter you feel the tense atmosphere! The servers have no education or manners.
