The Anchor Inn - Pershore

Today at 5 PM, I stopped by this restaurant on my way home from the Korndorne hiking area. It's easy to find and offers beautiful indoor and outdoor seating with lovely views of the River Avon. The menu features around 8 to 10 main courses, all made from scratch and sounding delicious. We tried the prawn and crab salad, tomato soup with warm bread rolls, fish and chips, and a delightful lamb pie served with chunky chips, peas, and extra gravy. We received a warm welcome from Alison, who was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, the venue, and the local area. Poppy also served us and, although a bit shy, she was very pleasant. Overall, the experience was excellent, and we plan to visit again soon.

This is a lovely pub with a spacious outdoor area that offers stunning views of the water. They have a great selection of drinks, and the food looks absolutely beautiful.

I visited the restaurant for lunch on Saturday, and I had an excellent experience. The food was well presented and arrived quickly. I highly recommend it!

Absolutely beautiful pub next to the river with fab sitting outside. eating nice. only on the bottom is when they have mobility problems, there are some steps to get to the decking areas

Sat outside in the sun, the decking goes right down to the R Avon, beautiful setting. Service a little slow but it was busy. Food was good. Recommended.
