The Upper Deck

Nice little bar, drinks were nice and chilled and prices okay. There is a pool table and seating is on two levels. Toilets were okay but were useable. Staff friendly and welcoming would recommend for a few drinks. Price per person: £1–10 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

The Deck doesn’t serve food, but their partner pub across the street, The Tywarnhayle, offers amazing meals. However, back to The Deck—it’s such a lovely place: welcoming, friendly, and fun. We were on holiday just up the road at Liskey Hill, about a ten-minute walk from our caravan, and we visited here most nights. We loved the karaoke; we joined in and felt like part of the family. The cocktails are fantastic, and the drinks are reasonably priced. The downstairs area is more of a drinks and sports bar, while upstairs is quieter and hosts events like karaoke (reservation in advance is needed for these). There’s also a small patio balcony for those warm summer evenings. We will definitely return on our next holiday!

Where do I begin with The Deck? This place is incredible! We arrived for the week and felt welcomed from the moment we stepped in on our first night. The drinks are very reasonably priced, and the staff is fantastic. A special shout-out to Dangerous Dave and Leethal! We had such a fun time at karaoke last night.
