Bar-restaurante El Balcon

Visited this place about five times now and the food was always of good quality. The ambiance of the place is less spectacular, it's rather dark and with the continuous disco lights it looks like some kind of karaoke bar. Another minus is the loud music being played. Even if there is just a few people sitting at the tables while talking and having some food. The crew doesn't hesitate to turn up the volume super loud as if there was a party going on. The management of this place apparantly hasn't really decided whether this place is supposed to be a bar, a restaurant or a disco.

The restaurant is located upstairs with an open balcony all around, providing excellent people-watching opportunities. We decided to try the Carne plate, which was priced around $8 US and was surprisingly large. The plate included fish, beef, pork, and even hot dogs. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional.

There are always many people, good people, and good music at this restaurant. The food is decent, but it's definitely a fun spot to spend time. It's strange that they only offer large mugs of draft beer, but it's worth a visit. By the way, it was much better when it was called Cascada!

There are not many places that can match the ambiance and atmosphere of this restaurant. The visual appeal seems to surpass the actual taste of the food. However, this is based on my own personal experience.

This is a lovely restaurant with delicious food. Be sure to try the buffalo wings and the fairy and mix. The street view is perfect for people-watching. Goodbye.
