Contribuiți la feedbackDO NOT COME HERE!!I truly have never had an experience like this in my life! Let me start with saying I’ve been to this restaurant before and have had no issues in the past in fact had good opinions about said restaurant. However, today when I ordered a to go order simply because I didn’t have time to eat in I had a horrific experience. They told me my food would be ready in 20 minutes after I placed the order, I then show up maybe 5 minutes after the estimated ready time to pick up my food. No bad interaction paying or getting my food but when I left and was driving out of the parking lot me and my girlfriend opened up one of the rolls because again crunched for time. We both had a single piece of one roll. Both of us were shocked to find that the roll was warm and soggy. Keep in mind we ordered two crunch rolls. Now I understand I was a few minutes late but that is no excuse to why a sushi roll is warm and soggy. I then proceed to call the restaurant asking if I could get a refund or at the least could get my rolls remade. The lady told me no so I asked to speak to the manager. I then start speaking to the manager to explain the situation and he was insistent that it was all my fault. I will admit I started to lose my temper but only because I have never dealt with such terrible customer service. All I was asking at the end was to at least have my sushi rolls remade and not get the refund and he refused. I spent $50 on two rolls and a beef entree which is rediculous in itself. Keep in mind to that the manger I spoke to is claiming he’s the owner. Whether or not that’s true no owner or manager should be talking to a customer the way he was talking to me before the situation escalated. I didn’t even get an apology at all. DEFINITELY NEVER GOING BACK!!!!
The smell of old fish was bad enough we left before ordering.
Literally didn’t see our waiter for 45 minutes, when we tried to get her attention she turned around and acted like she didn’t see us. then she ended up leaving and didn’t tell us at all and when someone finally came up to us another girl I told her I just want the bill and after ANOTHER 30 minutes I had to go to the bar to just get my bill. I paid and was going to leave and saw I was charged 15 extra dollars and showed them my charge on my bank and they said they didn’t charge that! On top of all that we ordered drinks we never got and didn’t even get a sorry for the long wait or thank you for the patience or did you want those drinks still or hey your waiter is leaving for the day NOTHING. And about the charge it was oh well sorry we didn’t charge that???! I now this is basica A chain but this specific location sucks!
First time at this place. I 'm going to be sharing an honest opinion review.1. I got to the restaurant a little after 3:30p on 3.18.2024. The moment you walk in through the door, you can smell the fish. Yes, of course you 're going to a place that serves sushi, but I 've been to plenty of sushi places that do not smell this bad of fish. This made me question the cleanliness of the kitchen. I still stayed and ate, despite the smell. I was willing to give this place an honest try.2. When I arrived, there was only 2 other tables that were in use. The place was not busy at all for a Monday evening, especially during Happy Hour times. I was seated within a minute or two. After about 5ish minutes, I was greeted by the waitress. She was kind and friendly. I ordered a Bacardi Mojito with Mango and got it about 10 min later. An unusually long time for a drink order when there 's barely anyone there. Anyways, this was not a real made mojito either. There was no mint muddled. I feel like this was a premade Bacardi Mojito mix, which sucks, but it was still tasty, especially with the mango sauce added. The price was okay, maybe $1 $2 more than what I would have expected it to be.3. I ordered Miso Soup, Gyoza, 3 specialty rolls. I got the Miso Soup fairly quickly, and it was decent, just had a fishy smell and taste. Like I 've said before, I understand I 'm in a place that serves fish, and I do understand that Miso is made with dashi which is fish broth, but this was the fishiest tasting Miso Soup I 've ever had. While I was waiting for the Gyoza appetizer to be brought out, there was a significant time, probably around 15 20 minutes, of waiting. All of a sudden, another waitress brings out the Pink Princess Roll. Just the one. No appetizer, not the other rolls, just that one. Then I waited another 8 minutes for the other two rolls to come out. For a total of about 25 30 minutes of waiting after finishing the Miso Soup, I never got the Gyoza appetizer. I asked the waitress where it was and she was like Oh my gosh, I forgot to put the order in . I told her it 's okay, I 'll just take it to go then, and had her make them fresh to go when I was ready to leave. She told me that the Gyoza was on her, since she forgot them, but she still charged me for it..4. The Sushi Review: Rainbow Roll: Good! Not the best, but good. Would have been better with spicy mayo, or even just spicy soy sauce, but it was still good. Made with imitation crab on the inside and a variety of different fish slices on top, including shrimp. This wasn 't bad. I truly don 't think this was worth the $16.95, I personally think this was more of a $11 $12 roll. Caterpillar Roll: This one has great potential. I love Eel, as long as it comes out to me freshly done. I cannot eat Eel once it 's cooled off. Since this roll had been sitting and waiting, the Eel got cold and gained a fishy taste. I was so disappointed. The first bite was decent, it was still slightly warm, but after that, it wasn 't enjoyable. The Eel needs to be brought to the customer ASAP after being made. I do not think this was worth the $15.95, probably more around the $11 $13. Pink Princess Roll: This one was my absolute favorite!! The flavor was perfect, the presentation was normal, and the serving size was large! Do I think this is worth the $19.95, no, probably $15, sure! Unfortunately, I won 't be getting this again just because of the price, but it was worth the try.5. The Gyoza, that I had at home since it was forgotten as an appetizer, it was great! The flavor was delicious and even though I ate it cold from the fridge, it was still delicious! Definitely a go to appetizer. This is also on the Happy Hour Menu. All together, this experience was not the best. I wish I had a better experience here. I wish this Sushi wasn 't so expensive. I 've gotten Sushi at a better quality, and less expensive, at a restaurant right on the ocean. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back. Especially not for the price, not for the sl
I loved this place. The service was outstanding and the sushi was amazing. I felt so welcomed. The owner even came over and personally asked how our experience was. Great personalized experience.I tried the miso soup, TNT Shrimp, garlic edamame, lobster roll, and calamari roll.
