Hello Vietnam Pho Roll - Peoria

I have ordered from this restaurant a few times. The first time, I was amazed. The second time, I felt like I did not receive a good amount of tofu and vegetables. This time, I was overwhelmed by the portion size. There were five pieces of tofu, which is more than what most places give. Additionally, there were four pieces of broccoli and three pieces of carrots. Sadly, I found two small pieces of paper in my food. I called the restaurant and they gave me a refund, but I was very disappointed and upset while eating my meal.

There are limited non-chain restaurants in North Peoria that provide vegan options, but this place is fantastic. I visit often. The staff is knowledgeable about vegan items and very polite. Personally, I prefer oil-free dishes. I tried the fresh vegan spring rolls with steamed tofu (the peanut sauce is delicious), the steamed tofu noodle dish, and the vegan pho. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This time, they definitely skimped out on me. There were only 5 pieces of tofu, compared to the block or half block that most places give you. There were only 4 pieces of broccoli, half of which were tiny, and 3 pieces of carrots. As for the onion, I only found two tiny slices. I called and they gave me a refund, but I was really disappointed and sad while eating my food.

We have been to this restaurant several times over the past few years. They are usually busy with takeout orders. The dining room was quite full tonight. The menu offers several options with tofu. The salt and pepper tofu is a fantastic appetizer and reasonably priced. The tofu fresh rolls come with a delicious peanut sauce. We also ordered the tofu stir fry, but it took so long to arrive that I forgot to take a photo. I inquired about their smoothies with boba, but unfortunately, they are unable to make them vegan. It was disappointing.

There are not many non-chain restaurants in North Peoria that offer vegan options, but this place is a gem. I have visited multiple times and the staff are very knowledgeable and accommodating when it comes to vegan preferences, including my dislike for oil. I enjoyed the fresh vegan rolls with steamed tofu (the peanut sauce is delicious), the steamed tofu noodle bowl, and the vegan Pho. I highly recommend this restaurant.
