Chef Moussa Mediterranean American Cuisine

We went there with friends and while It is a small place, but you will love him. The host is very friendly and allows you to choose your time when choosing food items and very willing to offer you extra bread if needed. We ordered a lot of platelets quite difficult to remember, but their falafel platter must try. Besides their burgers and fries they are some of the places in Peoria, where you can actually get a good vegetarian burger:

If I could give this place 100 stars I would! My husband and I love to try different foods and we were in many of the local restaurants in the Peoria region and I am happy to say Chef Moussa's place is hands down our favorite!! You can try the difference in the quality of the ingredients. It tastes all fresh with the true aromas come through that are clear. The food was hot and I mean that Pita was evaporating bread and out of this world. The hummus is legit and I can't even say enough good things about the falafel. They are huge, crunchy, not greasy or hard and full of taste. Do not let me start on the Gyro meat, super juicy and tasteful and non-fat or mushy. The portions are also huge, my husband and I ordered two plates, an appetizer and a baklava range for dessert and we had three home boxes when we were gone. All this for a little over $50!! I would have paid twice for this meal. We will be back:

Wow. I visited the city and chose Chef Moussa from the reviews. The food was incredible, the homemade Pita, just wow. And to round it off, we were treated by the owner himself as a license. I can't recommend Chef Moussa enough. I'll report to Peoria for the next time. Come support this excellent restaurant, you will not be disappointed.

We ordered to go and we so impressed with our Falafel Platters! I wasn't able to finish and it tasted just as good the next day as leftovers. Delicious food, friendly service and family ran. We found a new favorite place!
