El Mexicano - Peoria

I was an out of town worker and happened upon this place on Taco Tuesday. I am very glad I did. I had a fantastic steak Torta, a few tacos, chips and salsa, and a delicious dessert of corn in a cup. The prices were very reasonable. The staff was friendly and the service was fast. We will definitely be returning.

Small and unassuming Mexican restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, run by a family. Extremely authentic and delicious food.

I went on a small mission to find the best authentic Taco place in Peoria and this place wins. The Tacos are the best!!!! I eat here every week. The owner is also a really big guy who has deep connections to the community and really takes care of his customers and keep his restaurant a safe place (for customers and employees). I highly recommend this place.

Great food! Had the cheeseburger and fries. Very friendly staff! Definitely will be back!

Got 3 tacos, chips and a drink for $9. Good and cheap, nice staff.
