The Fountain Tavern - Penzance

I made a drink on the way home. good atmosphere and the staff were close. Too bad we didn't get in there either.

Exceptional customer service, unforgettable generousity and a full English breakfast we are still nostalgic. the staff and the owner of fountain tavern treated us like family and offered all the comforts of a great stay on the answering of all those we had, patient at check-in and check-out, and special touches for my birthday stay, which I will not soon forget. 100% recommend this to anyone who stays in cornwall. not only for the closeness to local sights and beaches, but for the people themselves we are a joy to know and experience. Thank you!

My visit in September 2021 the stay was amazing. Friendly and caring staff who valued our stay and were always helpful even just for the one night we stayed. Would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting penzance and wants something a little more than your usual chain hotel.

Took temporature on entry, staff were very pleasant and attentive, took orders and brought your drinks to the table, always checking if you needed anything, customer's were very friendly. Pleasant enjoyable evening all round.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Fountain Tavern. All staff was extremely kind, helpful and polite. My husband stayed 2 nights and we found the room cosy and clean. The location is also great as it is 10 minutes walk or less from the seafront and 5 minutes walk from the high street. Highly recommended!
