Contribuiți la feedbackThe chef showcased incredible creativity with dishes that delighted our taste buds! The staff was extremely attentive. Although the night was cool, we were able to enjoy the lovely atmosphere on the patio, complete with a smoky sunset, cozy blankets, and heaters.
I was disappointed that the upper patio wasn't open during my visit. The food was just okay. I started with the charcuterie board, which I found somewhat underwhelming, particularly because the cheese selections were lacking. I didn’t think it was worth the price. For the main course, I had the pork chop for two, which had a generous portion and delicious gravy—definitely the highlight of the meal! However, the pork itself was a bit overcooked. I've been here before, and it was better then. Maybe since it's the end of the season, they had a less experienced team working? I hope my next visit will be an improvement!
Only problem was that we were swarmed by flies as soon as we were served our food.
The restaurant boasts a stunning setting with breathtaking views. The food is both innovative and incredibly tasty! The service team was exceptional as well. I can't wait to come back!
The wait staff were great. The first two wines we tried we had to send back, which we have never done before anywhere. The $35 Naramata Bench board was very skimpy,especially the cheese. The scallops and pork belly were fantastic but there were only two scallops. The desserts were great but pretty small for $12. We have loved Hillside on past occasions.
