Bogners even vegetarian filling in addition to regular filling and wonderful grilled cauliflowers to replace the turkey. ....We had enough remains for some nights and turkey sandwiches for the week. The first price was a little more than other options, but I feel that we get much better food and more of it. I'll never cook Christmas dinner again as long as Bogners offers this service. It was also very generous to connect with SOWINS and donate soup to a SOWINS family for every Christmas dinner. by the municipality .
Without hesitation I had the best meal of the year today. The attention to the details was impeccable, ingredients so fresh and tasty, excellent service combined to a wonderful culinary experience.
Someone recommended this place. So we booked dinner. I have a huge restaurant experience around the world. Unfortunately, our Canadian restaurant fell on the bottom of my list. Especially young waiters do not know what they do. Forks and knives brought to the table after the plate. The long nails over the food served in every dish!!! Eat. We ordered 5 course menus for $100 for two prefixed, nothing you can change). First dish: Chicken Gizzards with chips covered with Asian sticky sauce. That's something you can't even call it a court. How do I eat? Just with your fingers? Okay, there's only paper towel for everything. One! You have to ask for one. Second dish: Sushi with salmon from the refrigerator! 5 pieces for 2 people! Are you kidding? Third dish: green salad with chips, cherries and flowers from the garden where my wife noticed a rat walking around. Fourth court: steak with Thai noodle photos attached. This one part for two). No big comment here. Fifthly, desert was just okay. Overall: tasteless food with bad service. I'm talking about bathroom on the second floor and the building used to be a hospice. We are so unhappy that we cancel some other recommended places and stick to the restaurants we know.
Went for dinner tonight, only a limited set menu was available... Salad was tiny and noting special, ordered a Ceasar, my partner ordered a green salad which was totally basic and had nothing in it besides rhubarb and lettuce. I had the AAA Steak which...was cooked to oblivion and served with a gigantic raw baby carrot with the stock spilling out over the plate, some raw snap peas, some terrible coleslaw and plain boiled baby potatoes. This place has been watching too many episodes of Chefs Table but lost the plot on actually executing the dish. I've never had junky raw veg served as a side and the place looked like it was a holdover from 70’s yester year. I don't even think a terrible and recent review can stop this place as it's obviously marched on through many tourists wallets and will continue to take people for a ride that booked a real too late and couldn't find anywhere else.
What a wonderful dining experience! Gardens surrounding the restaurant provide the herbs and vegetables that are used in the farm to table menu. We had the 5 course menu and every course was so delicious. Great atmosphere, great staff, great wine list .
