Play Estate Winery and Bistro

Still wonderful with new cook. delicious food and scenic view. we were worried when we heard the old chef went. we had low expectations, but were very impressed by the new cook and the quality of eating.

Great meal and great service. our server was incredible!

Her retro approach to comfort food is fun. unfortunately great hamburger left man feels for a day.

We had dirty bird sandwich and was shocked to find out it was a piece of deep fried chicken on a rather plain bun. Who eats deepfried these days???? I expect that at a Pub but not at a Winery with such a classy environment. I never eat deepfried and I am sure the menu did not disclose the item was deepfried!!! Perhaps that was the dirty part. The seafood soup was tasty but had 1 tablespoon of seafood in it...not exactly a seafood plentiful chowder as it should of been. I was there last summer and the menu was much more interesting and the presentation and food was a whole lot better. I hope they improve as I would like to support Play Winery.
