Contribuiți la feedbackI recently discovered my new favorite cafe. After living here for 5 years, I initially thought this place was too fancy. However, the servers were very friendly and the menu was surprisingly affordable. The variety and pricing of the menu items, along with the homemade sauces and spreads, made the dining experience worth every penny. Our server, Onno (spelling unsure), played great music for us during the busy lunch rush. I tried the chicken orzo soup for the first time and it was delicious. The cold muffeletta sandwich on French bread was a unique and tasty choice. The option to add fruit and dessert for just $1 extra was a clever touch. The menu also offers a wide selection of seafood and traditional American dishes. The overall ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and reminiscent of a Tuscan bohemian setting. Sitting outside in the perfect 72-degree weather was blissful. I plan on returning to this fantastic restaurant and highly recommend it to others.
We tried the muffalatta with olives and grilled pimento cheese, which had bits of jalapeno for a little kick. It was larger and more filling than expected, but delicious. The fruit salad with poppy dressing was a nice accompaniment. We also indulged in bread pudding with both Amaretto and whisky sauces, both of which were smooth and tasty. The dish had a light, crispy coco-flake topping that complemented the coffee I ordered perfectly. Overall, the service was great and I highly recommend trying Jo's if you find yourself in South Pensacola. It's definitely worth the trip.
