King Super Buffet - Pensacola

The worst experience possible! There was no choice of food, and the service was terrible. They rushed us out. I would definitely not recommend going there!

We visit this restaurant a couple of times each month, and the food has generally been quite good. However, during our last visit, we arrived at 3:30 PM, which is supposed to be when the dinner menu starts. Unfortunately, the spring rolls were cold, chewy, and tough, and the same went for the other dishes. They hadn't switched to the dinner menu until 4:00 PM, so everything we ordered was still from the lunch menu, which was very disappointing.

We love Chinese buffets, but this one is not a place we would return to. A lot of the food was bland, lacking any seasoning, and the staff was incredibly rude. At the payment counter, the waitress stood right next to me, watching to see what I wrote for her tip. I can only assume she thought this would pressure me into leaving something, but she definitely didn’t get a tip from me. Additionally, the manager almost shouted at me when I politely inquired about a military discount. You would think I had insulted him by the way he reacted. I even asked my wife if I was imagining it, and she confirmed that he did, in fact, snap. Overall, it's clear that it's better to spend your money elsewhere.

I absolutely love this place! The food is delicious, and the restaurant is very clean. I'm quite selective when it comes to sushi, but the sushi here is exceptional!

We first tried this place when we moved here, almost 7 years ago. We went after dinner time, and didn't like the food at all. Everything seemed dried out like it had been sitting too long. We hadn't been back since, until today, we decided to give them another try. This time we went during peak hours, and we loved it. Everything was hot and fresh, and the server was friendly and very attentive. I'm glad we gave them another chance, we'll definitely be going back here. We're just going to make sure it's during peak time, as that's when the food seems better.
