If you never owned or worked in a restaurant in the first week it is open to you not to check Chicago 's until after July 4th. Was that the best culinary experience I ever had in Pensacola? Not even close. But this has the potential to be the largest place in Pensacola to watch a Cubs game or to watch the bears absolutely. Is it from people who have done their time in Chicago and know how an Italian beef should taste sandwiches absolutely. Are they authentic Viennese beef relish and Giardiniera of course they are. They serve Old Style on Tap NO! but really, who misses old style on tap. This is not a corporate super franchise that flew in 30 experienced waiters, waiters, chefs and managers to help them start their first week. This will be owned by a family, locally, we put our heart and soul into trying to do this thing, type of restaurant. Very attentive server. Great personality. Very accommodating for changes to standard menu items. Building old and outdated but clean. Got a couple dogs but as we’re not Chicagoians ?, lol), can’t judge on that. They were good. Seems they are having a different theme each night, unfortunately tonite was karaoke.

I am from Chicago and use to own a sandwich shop back in the day so I am picky when it comes to my home town favorites. They just opened so I’m sure they will improve to a 5 star once they get in their groove. I will be back to try more of the menu for sure.

The food is ok overall. We been at this place twice . My husband is from Chicago they used real Vienna beef so that is pro. The rest of the food is ok, the staff is very nice and attentive. Since their Vienna and sausages come directly from Chicago they are out from time to time .
