Cubi Cafe - Pensacola

The menu is quite simple and limited, mostly focusing on sandwiches. However, the atmosphere is fantastic, and it’s fascinating to see all the plaques adorning the walls.

If you're in the military, you'll find this bar to be one of the most unique places you'll ever visit. The walls are adorned with countless unit plaques—I'd estimate at least 150. Each table is distinct, and the chairs are wheeled, allowing you to position them however you like. The service was prompt, and the prices were reasonable. From my perspective, the atmosphere was excellent. I overheard someone at the next table mentioning that many, if not all, of the unit plaques likely originated from the Philippines. They're all beautifully handcrafted and date back to the time when specific units were deployed in various theaters. Again, if you have a military background, you'll appreciate this place. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time there today and would definitely return when we are in the area. I give it three thumbs up!

We had a fantastic time at Cubi Bar Cafe this week, thanks to the impeccably prepared food. The atmosphere greatly enhanced our dining experience. We treated a total of 11 people to lunch, and everyone loved their meal, which included the chicken Caesar salad, Cubi panini, BBQ panini, hot dogs, a peanut butter sandwich for the kids, and chips with salsa. The service was outstanding! We highly recommend Cubi Bar Cafe as part of a complete visit to the National Aviation Museum.

If you're a fan of Navy and Marine Corps aviation, this is the spot for you. They offer a concise lunch menu, serving hot food quickly. We visited on a Wednesday when the Blue Angels were practicing, and the place was buzzing with activity. It was great to see such a lively crowd, especially after the limited attendance they experienced post-COVID. They seem to have returned to a regular schedule. Semper Fidelis!

I wish I could give this place zero stars. My experience here was dreadful. Our waitress ignored us multiple times, and we finally had to flag her down for help. The grilled cheese wasn’t actually a grilled cheese—it was just cheese sandwiched between two slices of bread. As for the soup, it was utterly disgusting—plain, watery, and completely underwhelming. The prices are outrageously high, especially considering the quality of the food. It’s simply not worth it.
