Great seafood. We had salmon and grouping salad black. Absolutely excellent. You know it's good if you're done, full and still want more. The service was excellent. Thanks Crystal! Great prices. Would definitely be back!! And they have order in advance and execution!!

How can you stop eating at a place called Captain Joey? This locally owned restaurant seems very popular among locals based on the noon amount, but if you try the food you will know why. There are both indoor and outdoor seating, and the outdoor terrace has a good size canopy to stop the afternoon rain. The staff is super friendly and courteous, always with a smile and a friendly word. I had the Grouper Basket meal, which was very good, and the Gumbo alone is worth a return trip! I also tried the baked beans as one of the offered pages that were also very delicious. The Hush puppies were okay, it was just a lot of fried food for a session. Enjoy excellent value for money!

We have always enjoyed coming here for lunch as the food has always been delicious, except for today. I ordered the Shrimp and Oyster dinner, reversed so I would get more fried oysters. (18.95 $2 to have more oysters than shrimp) These pictures show the size of the oysters I received. The fried shrimp were delicious, along with the onion rings and coleslaw. Our waiter didn’t return to our table of 4 until he brought the check. I mentioned the size and also the terrible taste. He asked if I wanted more, and I declined. Normally the fried oysters are larger than the size of a marble and are delicious. If this is the size and quality of the oysters, they shouldn’t be available. I did receive a $6 discount off my bill. We will be back but not for fried oysters.

The service was friendly and prompt. The parking lot was very full, but we sat fast despite the lunch break. I ordered the salmon salad with ginger and sesame dressing and slightly black salmon with Koleslaw and Hush puppies. The salmon was amazing. We also ordered a piece of carrot cake, but it wasn't very good military discount is a little strange - only on certain drinks, but not the menu

Great lunch with a very good seafood menu. The hotel is located about 4 minutes west of the immediate downtown of Pensacola. From sandwiches to salads, this is a great place that has been around 1 1/2 years old for many years and at this point. Always a lot. So plan to wait 5-10 minutes for a seat. But the food comes out quickly. My fried Mullet-Poboy was a great lunch and Pommes were good. (I asked about the Bbq sauce pictured and it was also good). Very good for my combo. I would recommend stopping.
