Agave - Pensacola

I absolutely LOVE this place! The food is amazing, and their drinks are fantastic! I enjoy stopping by for a quick bite during my lunch break. However, for some reason, they were closed today and weren't serving food or drinks. I ended up going next door to World of Beer, but they weren't serving food either. I had to find another lunch spot, which was really disappointing.

The tequilas are excellent, but the bar doesn’t offer any wine. Unfortunately, the food was completely bland. I ordered the veggie tacos with wasabi sauce, but I couldn’t taste any wasabi at all. The black bean corn salad was just as flavorless. It’s possible they have a new chef, or maybe this is just a spot to enjoy margaritas and chips. The margaritas were really tasty; my husband polished off two of them!

Great bar with surprisingly healthy and delicious food options! Our friends recommended this place, and we're so glad we took their advice. I ordered the Baja Chicken Salad with sesame vinaigrette dressing, while my husband had the steak street tacos. We both loved our choices. They also have a wide selection of tequilas, but I wasn’t in the mood for tequila tonight. Instead, I tried one of their specialty drinks called Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, which was fantastic. It had ginger beer and some kind of orange mix, reminiscent of a Moscow Mule.

This is a chill place with a great selection of tequilas and tacos. We stopped by mid afternoon and had a couple of margaritas and shots. They also have Don Julio 70 which is like some of the best sipping tequila ever! Def recommend stopping by to grab ataco or two with margaritas of course. Drinks okay. Food. Not a fan of at all. However if you want a Tex mex which in my personal opinion is a plain taco then this is your spot. I’m a meat that’s well marinated type of gal.
