Piccolo Trattoria - Pennington

We rarely feed here on a weekend. But we did. And it was ridiculously crowded and too loud. The service was slow like molasses (a full hour of sitting to see a duck) and more of one still waiting to see our review. We won't be back for a while and never again on a Saturday night.

We were in florida for a week before visiting our go to italian restaurant. we missed the delicious food and service.

I have written reviews before and have really nothing to add to them.

Everything was fresh and delicious. Husband thoroughly enjoyed his calamari appetizer. My mozzarella em carrozza with a tomato-caper sauce was very good. Penne Arabiatta was just right spicy (though a little too salty). Fusilli with mushroom sauce had homemade pasta and tasty. Service was prompt and efficient. Will definitely be back to this byo restaurant.

We took a friend. She loved the bread and her meal. She will be back and this is our Go To restaurant.
