Crossroads Cafe Catering - Penn Laird

This is the perfect cafe to come sit awhile and work while enjoying a really good latte. Or chat and grab a delicious meal. The food is excellent, the coffee great, the bakery items out of this world, and the staff friendly, welcoming, and attentive. I was looking for a place to work while having coffee and this place fits perfectly. You don’t need to go all the way into Harrisonburg. I highly recommend. (Oh, and there’s plenty of seating!

Surper adorable cafe with amazing food and baked goods. Their hot and cold drink menu has something yummy for anyone. A great place to sit and get some work done. The owners and counter-staff are wicked friendly and attentive.

I was surprised a southern restaurant would serve me grits that was like soup. Very watery and soupy. Everything seemed microwaved except the eggs. The waffles had a sugar crunch and hard. I do not recall having a waiter or anyone to ask us how we were doing but other tables were attended to. I will not be returning .

I got a breakfast casserole and croissants to surprise my wife for Mother’s Day; and now we’re trying their “take bake” option …a very nice idea for a professional family too busy to cook, or an older couple or anyone who just wants a break from planning or cooking a couple of meals a week. Great service; good food; reasonable price…hard to beat!
