Fisher's Country Store - Peninsula

Really cool restaurant (I think this is a local chain) found it when through Cuyahoga Valley NP. Very large menu and huge selection of drinks. This restaurant is located on the river and next to the railways in a small, beautiful city. The interior had a huge bar and many seats in and out. We were sitting outside. I have garlic wings and cheese sticks. Tons of sauces to choose, I have a Caribbean jerk chicken sand that. They had a beer flight I told the waitress to surprise me and that was good. Very reasonable prices, esp for the amount of food you receive. In any case, it'll be back!

Had some appetizers and drinks. big drink card, and the wings are good. We wanted to sit at the bar, but we said we had to see the hostess, thought that would be a bit strange that even the bar seats were managed by the hostess like tables. So if there is a long waiting period, you can't even sit at the bar or drink.

This is our popular booklet restaurant! We probably go 2-3 times a month. We usually go to the peninsula, but we often find ourselves in Macedonia, Brunswick, Fairlawn and Independence. My husband and I had our first date in independence. We ate our salads and flew out just to be married 10 months later. Hubby loves beer selection and ribs, and I love the thin divers with the fire sauce. We cannot wait until the complete menu returns. We absolutely LOVE clam back season, and they do it all day at weekends. I think it's the best in town and has the best value. Salads are always super fresh. I'm rarely weakened in the restaurants. The operating team must do a great job. The turnover does not seem high for a restaurant. I'm surprised they don't have better Google stars. Very recommended.

My burger was tall and juicy and the pommes were right. The service was fast and polite. Overall a very pleasant experience.

My first time here, was a little bummed that the cellar was closed. My burger was the perfect medium rare and chicken nachos were amazing! I can't remember the first name of our server but her last name started with a V... she was very attentive, efficient, and had a great personality. Hoping the downstairs us open soon, would love to visit again. Highly recommend!
