Sora Lella Vegan Roman - Penicuik

Great dining experience! I was delighted to have the opportunity to visit this restaurant while on a trip, as the vegan Italian food was some of the best I have ever had. The carbonara was rich and creamy, and every dish was bursting with flavor. I would love to see a location open in London! My only critique is that the service was a bit overwhelming and the atmosphere was on the chilly side.

I only visited Sora Lella once, but it may be my new favorite restaurant. It is a small, cozy place with a relaxed atmosphere, which is surprising at first glance. The food is exceptional. I had the bruschetta for my starter, the mushroom dish for the main course, and the tiramisu for dessert - all of which were delicious. It is rare to find a fully vegan restaurant with such a wide variety of options, so I was pleasantly surprised by the offerings at Sora Lella. I can't wait to come back and try more!

Sora lella is amazing! my partner and I shared the creamy chicken and pepper starter, then the meat had solid calzone and four cheese penne for the net. each dish was so warming, fresh and tasty, and we wish we had the time to visit again on our short trip. eating is comparable, but I would honestly say better than all non-vegan equivalents and it was really hard to believe that the food we ate was vegan, especially the cheese elements of the dishes that were all perfection. service was also a great highlight. the whole restaurant was full when we went on a Saturday night, but despite being attentive, eating quickly came out and the two servers were generally only beautiful. Both worked very hard, as it was so busy, but the whole atmosphere never reflected that they had helped on negative wise to create a very relaxed environment and there was a great uplift over the restaurant. they also offered us some free limoncellos, as we celebrated my birthday, which was really sweet. the restaurant was clean, cozy and the tables were well separated. portions were really generous and cheap. in total just a really amazing culinary experience and so glad to see that this place won edinburgh trattoria of the year 2021, as it clearly deserves it keeps its own to each non-vegan Italian restaurant I have been, and there is obviously much love and passion that goes into the restaurant and eat. can not wait to visit again in edinburgh.

The vegan Italian food at this restaurant is absolutely amazing, prepared perfectly with top-notch ingredients! The staff is very friendly and provides excellent service. The flavors are fantastic! I will definitely return and recommend making a reservation in advance, as the restaurant is small and popular!

Brilliant Italian vegan food! Definitely recommend as there are lots of choices, with generous portions and lovely staff! Will 100% be back when I'm nearby again.
