Actually got a medium rare steak! A lot of places I find have been missing the mark of late. My Mum had the scallops and they were massive, I snuck a couple and the best I’ve had in ages! Very impressed! Definitely recommend to eat here!

On the face of it a basic looking pub , but the food really exceeds standard pub grub. Making a choice was difficult because amongst the standards of schnitzel, steaks deep fried seafood were several fare more tempting offers. Beef cheeks with beetroot, lamb back straps with field mushrooms and a fragrant curry to name a few . Then three options as a chefs choice. A busy Saturday night included a very large (and loud table of extended family who unfortunately Hoult we al needed to know the details of their lives was the only let down . Go for the food , fresh , reasonably price and beautifully cooked and presented.

An iconic local pub. Impressed with the excellence of customer service. Restaurant quality food at realistic prices. We will definitely go back.

The staff was very friendly and attentive. that was so reduced and not worth the money. we had scallops in speck and chickenpesto. many cheap veggies carrots and borons, but the huh was dry and was not a good servier. the scallops were boiled.

Nice were excellent. perfectly cooked and really complimented the dish. our maple pork was delicious. delicate and very tasty and we had an excellent tasmanian pinot with it.
