Havana Kiss Cuban Cafe

It was empty on a Friday evening that was the first red flag. Didn’t end up getting food but settled for a drink because they were cheap but I tried twice, mojito… trash, ask for the daiquiri and it was even worse. It was pretty much juice smh. Paid for it trashed it and left. Don’t plan on coming back.

It's been a while since I've gone out for Cuban food, since the family is Cuban and I can always get top notch food at Grandma's, but waiting on some friends to arrive for some nearby entertainment, I walked in for some food. The staff was very friendly, the wait for the food was pretty quick, and I ordered the ropa vieja with congris and a cafe con leche. Everything was delicious and cooked as I'd expect it to be. Authentic good Cuban food, I'll definitely return if I'm in the area again!

My family and I are on vacay from NY. We normally keep our expectations for the quality if food near Disney to a minimum. However this place was quite a surprise.We showed up to an empty resturant however it was 1pm on a Tuesday so we weren't too concerned. We were quickly seen and told what was to be expected for every entre. We ordered the Ropa Vieja, churrasco with shrimp and fried chicken with fries for the kids. A mojito and after the coffee with a guava pastry.Everything was incredible. The Ropa Veja reminded me of my mother's cooking. The steak and shrimp was so delicious. And the house hot sauce is a must. What was such a pleasure is the rice and beans, even tho it's so simple to make alot of restaurants fail and this place nailed it.The coffee was strong and the pastry was great.Was it expensive? Yes but not terribly so. Was it worth it? Every penny. Will definitely come back.

Service was slow on a day where we were one of two- three tables. Food is over priced for what it is. And the Cuban sandwiches were severely lacking in meat. A Cuban place should know how to get that right at the minimum to call itself a proper Cuban restaurant. The worst is that they commited in my book, the cardinal sin. Charging separately for fries. Sandwich should come with fries/side included in the price. Nickel and diming your customers is a sure fire way for me to not return.

Love the food went up on vacation with the family and was the only place in the entire week of being there that i wanted to go back before we left to eat there again.. found my new spot when im in that area.. staff made me feel welcome and were on point with everything.. highly recommend
