One of the best dining spots in Wales, without a doubt. I love all the food here—the Vermut and wine are outstanding, especially the UVA44 red, which is simply delicious. The staff are always friendly, making the experience even better. Honestly, I can't recommend specific dishes because everything is fantastic!

Upon entering, you are immediately enveloped in an authentic atmosphere where no detail is too small to be considered, from the cutlery holders to the staff uniforms. After several visits, we have found Bar 44 to be impeccable in every way, especially regarding its culinary offerings. The meticulous attention to detail is evident in every bite, with high-quality, authentic ingredients used to elevate the flavors, resulting in consistently outstanding dishes. In a time when many restaurants, understandably, feel the need to cut corners, it's refreshing to see that Bar 44 maintains its exceptionally high standards. The staff, particularly Nick, displayed impressive knowledge about the menu, providing detailed answers to all our questions. Nick's enthusiasm for the food and culture was evident as he passionately explained the ingredients and dishes. Dining at Bar 44 is truly an experience to be anticipated and enjoyed. Having visited multiple times, we commend their unwavering commitment to excellence.

Authentic tapas cooked in delicious sauces. The Specials menu is very good, pheasant cooked to perfection. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, the seats are comfortable and spacious.

We've been to the bar 44 in Cardiff Centre loads of times as we love it, penarth was no different. We're both vegan, and the menu was great, they made sure to use vegan wine in our sangria, and our waiter recommended the artichoke, which was amazing, really nice a smoky.the whole meal was really reasonably priced, and we didn't feel rushed at all. The location is great, perfect after a walk along the pier, we'll definitely be back again at some point, thank you Bar 44 Penarth!
