Great, friendly service and a large, tasty breakfast. The views from the cafe were also beautiful. Would definitely go back.

I note a few recent reviews seemingly with an axe to grind. Our experience this morning was of a warm, friendly welcome and prompt service with a smile. The staff even brought over a separate bowl of marshmallows to stop my daughter from trying to swipe them from my son’s hot chocolate. 4 stars for location and overall experience. The food was tasty enough but more of the budget offering but then I am a bit of a food snob so I’m not letting this unduly affect my review. I would be perfectly happy to return and recommend that others ignore the nasty reviews and try it for themselves.

Called in for a coffee, the coffee was either an instant coffee at £2.80 or £3.10 for a pod coffee. The scones were atrocious, they were more like a pound shop bread roll warmed up and were crumbling so soon as the knife touched it and was charged £5.75 each!! We were sat at our table, we had noticed a weird atmosphere in the cafe, the staff were very unprofessional and definitely not discreet. Myself and my partner could hear the staff complaining about a few of the customers moving tables to sit at the window, complaining that they weren’t ready to order yet. Overall the attitude of the staff is shocking and rude! Also used the toilet there which is 2 flights up and if you want to change your baby there, it is just a changing mat on the window sill as you go up the stairs. (Fantastic!

Avoid at all costs! Ordered on arrival to put my umbrella in the stand. Not even a welcome first. At that point we should have walked away! Breakfast was £8.50 , didn't include or toast. The plate was bulked out with beans, the sausages reheated and the bacon cremated. Add to that an egg dripping in oil and you get the picture. I also had to request cutlery after being served. Maybe they expected me to eat it with my fingers! Never again will i set foot in this place. You are paying for the view and that is all!!!!
