Boundary Waters Sports Grill - Pembine

Had the Lamb soup, also the Tomatoe Basil very good.I had their first boasted chicken dinner, excellent!

Cool place. Worth a day trip. The photo of the Bar on Yelp is not the Boundary Bar the Boundary Bar is much smaller and closed in. Low ceilings make the place cozy. Lots of historic photos. Food and drink prices above average, but not horribly so. Food is good I didn 't expect to get decent seared ahi in the middle of the Wisconsin North Woods, but I was pleasantly surprised (although the portion was pretty small). I could see this being a good place to watch the Packers game, but need to check if they have satellite package for other games. The young ladies working as servers, behind the bar and even in the Ice Cream Shop were friendly, sweet, and professional. It 's about an hour from Marinette, so worth a weekend excursion. The resort itself looked like a nice place to stay

The restaurant seemed to be understaffed, which resulted in slow service. The food was served quickly, but it was only average in taste. Additionally, a loud table of intoxicated guests made the atmosphere quite uncomfortable for the rest of the diners.

We used to love visiting this restaurant, as they had an excellent menu. However, after some staff changes, the service has unfortunately declined significantly. It takes an eternity to get assistance once seated, and even bar service has worsened. Previously, there was a wonderful staff who were friendly and quick to help, but now the current employees seem indifferent. Regrettably, the food has also seen some changes. They've removed signature dishes from the menu, including the Miscauno Burger and the blue burger. We used to look forward to our visits for a great dining experience, but now we only go for the pizza (which is still very good) and only when we have a free evening, since the service can be quite slow. It’s disappointing to see what was once a unique local gem becoming more mainstream.

The quality of the food has really declined. I've heard that someone new is managing the place, and they seem to be using cheaper meats and ingredients. It's disappointing. I won't return unless I hear that the food has improved. It's a shame because it used to be one of our favorite spots, and there aren't many good restaurants around here.
