Southern Smoke Bbq - PELZER

This place doesn't look so interesting from outside, but as soon as you get in, it's really great! From food to service to vibe everything is great. We had the sampler option and added some pages. All meats were excellent for me. I like Brisket and have a high expectation in every BBQ restaurant. The briskete here was the least impressive of all meats for me. I usually have no high expectations of pulled pig or smoked chicken, but I was really impressed by the pulled pork and smoked chicken here. The ribs were also delicious (I tend to have a high standard for them too). Also the sides of Okra and beans were good. The roasted pimple appetizer was addicted. So delicious. Last but not least, our server was super nice and attentive.

This is a beautiful place. Pleasant quiet atmosphere without loud music, like other places, just a beautiful volume. The bbq is very good and smokey. The pages we had like the baked beans, hush puppies and Mac n cheese were great. While the ribs were good, they were probably not worth the price as they are a bit expensive. Try the chicken next time. We tried the Brunswick stew and got a quarter. Very good smokey, sweet with a light peppermint. Excellent service also here. You add a 3% fee for using a card.

The pulled pig had a good taste without sauce. The fried Okra was also well prepared. My wife said the sweet potato crunch was good. The frits were hard after they had cooled down a little. Otherwise everything was good. That was the only reason for four stars. We'll be back.

On the way to a game and stopped eating. Many got the bbq and loved him. I got the fried chicken salad. It was wonderful! The waitresses were sweet, funny and attentive! I love it!

Their Brunswick Stew is delicious. Their hash with rice is so good. I love the chicken and the pulled pork. There's so much flavor, and it's so smoky! Their BBQ sauce is great! The service is alway wonderful. Love this little hidden gem!
