Chalet Refuge Du Pre De Madame Carle

At this refuge, whether you are a hiker, cyclist, tourist, climber, or just out for a nice time, you’ve found the right place! Lunches are excellent, with all sorts of omelettes, fantastic alpine salads, chips, steaks, a mushroom quiche to die for, and blueberry pies you will remember for a long time! All home made, of course. Lenka is your fantastic host, her partner Laurent the chef, her daughter Pavlina serves the food! It’s all family! A friendly and fun moment you will not forget!

We used this chalet for an after walk snack and drink. The chalet is located at the base of the paths to the black and white glaciers. This makes it ideal for a stop off. Our server was amusing, and that was reflected by the others. Service was quick and pleasant. We only snacked, but you can get lunch, dinner and overnight accommodation. Certainly worth a stop off. Note: the parking area requires payment to the park 2€ at the time of writing. We didn't feel that was excessive.

First customers for the opening weekend of the shelter. I know that putting 5 stars everywhere may seem suspicious but everything was wonderful, the welcome, the refuge, the site, the meals, the hikes and even the snow... without forgetting Fabrice the caretaker. Particularly recommended.

Vale la pena conocerlo... el entorno es absolutamente idílico, y la terraza/jardín para quedarse horas. El servicio es discreto, amable y eficaz. Precios altos, cosa razonable dado el sitio donde está, lejos de todo. Recomendable al 100%.

Between the exceptional landscape, the kindness of the whole team and the delicious giant hamburger. Everything is perfect.
