Lagondola - Pekin

The bread was a bit dry; otherwise, this place would definitely deserve five stars.

I was very disappointed with my experience. The half-gallon of spaghetti had enough sauce for only half of the noodles. The garlic bread was so thin that it resembled a breadstick more than actual garlic bread. To top it all off, I found a long hair in the noodles.

We love lagondola in pekin! we have been coming for 25 years, and it is still our number one for the only good italian in the opposite. Yes, it is quite easy, but always consistently good eating, good service and always hot. most take it to go because it is easier on this wise and while the dining room is dated and a little lack of glamour, it is so much better when they eat it there. we will continue to support their business as long as they remain open in pekin. oh and definitely try the homemade chocolate chip cookies!

I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The Italian beef I ordered was cold and undercooked, and the garlic bread was barely toasted, lacking any garlic butter. To top it off, the meatballs we ordered were missing entirely; all we got was a container filled with sauce. Overall, I was very dissatisfied and will not be coming back to this location.

Ordered spaghetti and a torpedo deluxe. Sandwich is good, but the spaghetti meat sauce was mostly water. The spaghetti was very bland.
