Service was very slow eating had swirling in him when I asked, no good checked whether the food was good or whether it was ok, I was upset with him

Disappointing visit to The Horseshoe Inm this evening, we visited last year and the food and service was phenomenal but this evening it was far below expectation.We ordered a Medium Rare Sirloin which arrived at the table closer to Medium Well. The Pork Belly was dry on the underneath and very chewy but this pales in comparison to the lacklustre service.There was no check back after we ordered our main meals. No one thought to take our glasses and cups away or even offer us another drink, not only that but after we had finished our mains and ask for a pudding menu we waited over 20 mins and after becoming agitated we ended up asking for the bill and leaving before even seeing the menu.As someone who works in Hospitality I just find some of the service errors quite unbelievable, not only for us the customer but for your profits as a business.

Another great visit at the horsehoe inn! love the new menu and will be back soon!

Great meal for the five of us, they even for the dog with water and a cookie. large staff and reasonable price

Loved the food and it was nice and cosy. Service wasn’t amazing but I think that was down to how busy they were and new/few staff on however when we were being served they were lovely.
