Bayou Grill - Pearland

My wife and I ate the Bayou Grill for the first time last night. The parking lot was full of cars when we arrived. When we opened and entered the door, there was a large group on a long table in the middle of the restaurant. One of the employees was on the table with orders and she looked at us and said we could sit everywhere and someone would come with us soon. We have a stand over the rome and sat. Another employee was there immediately to take our drinks orders. She brought us the drinks a few minutes later and took our orders when we were finally ready to read through the menu and ask a few questions. I had an order of three fried catfishes with pages from Fritten and Cajun Mais. My wife got the plate with fried puppies, shrimps and Hush puppies along with sides of Cajun corn and dirty rice. I was worried that the orders of the big group would slow down our order, but we had the food in a very reasonable time. Some other couples came in after us and I noticed that there were also orders at a good pace. All through the meal, the staff would pass to check on us and our drinks usually if the glasses were only half empty. The food tasted great, but the next time I cut off how much I get. I ate one of my wife's lush puppies and really enjoyed it. I wish that was one of the secondary elections. I think next time I'll ask if I can get something. The only place we listed them was with the record. We took time to eat and were out of the door in an hour after we entered.

Food and service was excellent. From NOLA, she moved 9 years ago and this is the best seafood I had in Texas....Hands Down! Small place, BIG taste! Will definitely be back. Also great prices, family of 5, $45, very reasonable!!

The food is very good. The grilled fish has a great taste. I suggest you try.

Very Very good place to eat. I 've had the cheeseburger And the shrimp po boy and it was all Awesome . Staff is friendly and prompt. Good varieties of food. Definitely highly recommended and we will be going often

I had their burger for 1st time on 11/6, and this was absolutely the best burger that i have ever had!
