We arrived around 4 PM on a weekday, expecting a pleasant experience, but we were sorely disappointed by the lack of service and overall treatment. We were a group of five—three adults and two toddlers. Upon entering, there was no clear signage directing us to wait to be seated or to seat ourselves. We awkwardly stood by the entrance for about a minute, being stared at by roughly 10 employees who were positioned in various areas of the restaurant, all within perfect view of us. Despite my attempts to make eye contact and seek assistance, not a single employee greeted or acknowledged us. Assuming we were to seat ourselves, we found an empty table by the windows and sat down. Several minutes passed without any contact from the staff. A family then emerged from the restroom area and pointed at us. Shortly after, a waitress hurried over, telling us to move because we were at their table. I apologized and explained our confusion due to the lack of clear instructions. She curtly informed us we were supposed to wait to be seated and walked off. After several more awkward minutes of being completely ignored, we decided to leave. We support small businesses in Pearland and the surrounding communities, but this experience was incredibly disappointing. We were treated so poorly that we will never return. There are many locally owned restaurants in Pearland that prioritize their guests and provide a positive experience, and we’ll be supporting them instead.
The orange chicken was great, but the noodles they were served on were fantastic. I'm clearly missing something about how you're supposed to eat them, since they're apparently like six feet long and very tangled. I settled on cutting them with my fork and know very well that wasn't right, hah. Worth it though. The fried spring rolls were also very good. But what blew me away was the takoyaki. I've had it from several places in the area, and I've been anywhere from fairly content to disappointed. But the takoyaki here was absolutely delicious. Crisp outside, soft inside, just wonderful. Highly recommend.
This food is the bomb, taste very authentic and the braid beef noodle is soooo good, beef so tender and broth is flavorable.
Great food and one of the best dumplings to get in Houston's. They make everything fresh and the way can be a little long when it's busy. So be patient and you will be rewarded with great food and service.
Everything we had was delicious! So glad we stopped by, we will definitely be back soon. Service was great and staff was very friendly.
