Young Buns Doughnuts - Pearl St, Groton

I've tried their doughnuts and the special Carnival Nights beignets and churros. I'm not crazy about the churros, seemed a bit too crispy and not enough softness inside. Also had a great amount of granulated sugar coating each thin churro. The chocolatesauce was thin. The beignets were great albeit with a heavy powdered sugar coating. Fortunately matched them with the Dulce deLeche sauce, which was thick. The beignets were lightly crisped with a pillowy soft interior. Have had the doughnuts severaltimes. Would recommend any of their yeast raised or brioche doughnuts or doughnut holes as suits your taste buds. The cakedoughnuts and holes we've had were on the dry side. Definitely like their Cinnamon Sugar and Rainbow Sprinkle varieties alongwith monthly specials we've tried (including Cookie Dough and Strawberry Shortcake). Hoping that Young Buns offers Apple Ciderdoughnuts and doughnut holes that Sift had before Young Buns was created. They were so good!

At some point Adam Young is gonna make a dessert I don't like, right? Maybe not. Doesn't seem likely. These donuts are fantastic! I had this incredible plum apricot jelly filled donut that was out of this world. The place smells amazing, the staffinside was super nice in helping us decide. Fresh donuts were being churned out nonstop. This place is delicious, to fill adonut craving, go here!!

OMG this place is INSANE. The doughnuts are exceptional.. the different flavors are nuts. We got a dozen.. And loved every single one.. I was pleasantly surprised that the coffee was really good too. Most of the time these places have great food butthe coffee tastes like dishwater. Not this spot. Coffee was actually a highpoint for me. Will definitely be stopping in wheneverwe're back in town. 9/10 would recommend

Quick stop during our little day trip to Mystic I have to say? that was the best donut I?ve had probably ever. The glazed covered in sprinkles was 10/10.

A gourmet doughnut spot for doughnut lovers. If you're just looking for a taste they also have doughnut holes. Nice coffee selections too. Expect to pay premium prices for premium baked goods.
