Borgo Italia - Peachtree City

Every time I get to the city, I'll make sure I'll stop in this great Italian restaurant. The owners are very active and hospitable, the food is amazing in their wine selection is top notch

After an earlier bad experience with service and food decided to give him another shot since it was about year, and we would like to try to support especially with how things are now. Unfortunately, this time was not much better than the first. I understand the times are hard to find with staff and good help, but the service was terrible. We immediately sat what was great, but then for a while to be recognized and brought drinks. I had to order food. The server was young and obviously inexperienced, so I give a little grace there, but her attitude was completely terrible and she won?t very far in the service industry with such an attitude. She messed up our order and then argued with me about it. She crashed and had what id resembles a little tantrum, like my children, if something doesn't go and they swear. She refused to come back to the table so that another server that was much more friendly at least had to take over. The only time she came back was to throw our bill on the table and go. Our mouths fell literally and then we could only laugh at what was the whole meal. The only thing I eat was the fresh mozzarella. The meatballs literally tasted like a ball of ground beef with watery red sauce. Zero taste. I tried to salt as much as I could, but it didn't help. The food was brought out at different times and some brought out how others were done. An article that was forgotten and remembered was literally taken out on a side panel after all the records were deleted and we were finished! $75 for a meal that is usually insensitive is frustrating and disappointing. We could have decided to go to another restaurant, but decided to give this place another attempt, but do not make this mistake again. After reading reviews it seems that we are not the only ones with this kind of experience that is regrettable, but perhaps others will have a better experience than we have.

Bottom line: delicious authentic Italian cuisine that is absolutely worth trying. My family got a mix of dough plates and each of them let us eat. The menu has many options so that everyone could find something he wanted easily. We also got a cheese-covered Bruschetta appetizer who didn't stay long on the table, I just had the food and was good. Wine selection was easy what I appreciate, I don't like it, overwhelmed with a hundred wine options. The staff and the owners were very friendly and attentive. The sitting time was immediately and the service time was normal for a sit-down menu (we were there on Tuesday at 7 p.m.). They even have toys for young children. In any case a family feeling and we will visit again.

Very disappointed how this place went downhill. I ordered the Polpette della Nonna, which is three classic great 100% Angus beef meatballs with our homemade marinara and topped with Parmesan. When they broke it out, the waitress said here that your vegetable meat balls. I told her I ordered the cattle meatballs that she then argued that I had on the plant that has a completely different name Polpette al Pomodoro and in a separate section of the menu. She took the plate back and said she would fix it, and a new plate was released a few minutes later. I had my suspicion that they did not make any effort to give me the right meatballs because it takes a long time to cook meatballs at temperature. I cut into a meat ball and my suspicion was confirmed when I tasted no beef and was filled with the unpleasant texture of vegetable beef. The waitress had simply taken the meatballs from the plate, placed them under the broiler for a few minutes and then filled with more sauce and parmesan. The dish also says it comes with roasted potatoes and vegetables, but these vegetables are steamed or cooked, definitely not roasted. Also the wine we were poured had pieces of cork swimming in several glasses. If this place lived up to the arrogance of the owner, the quality of food and service Top Notch would be held under sub par.

The pizza is really good and I'm only giving it four stars because I had a door dash order that ended up not hot at all. So I'll have to try again picking up myself because the flavor was still good when I was reheating the food.
