The Oxbow Saloon - Payson

The oxbow is a historic building, very rustic and very western style structure. Besides the huge dance floor and stage in the bar area it has a separate room with a huge fireplace and couches where you can go for a little privacy. They also host weddings with their huge backyard facility. It is a favorite stop after rodeos for the cowboys.

I have to say, the noise level from your establishment is absolutely unbearable. During the rodeo season, it's as if you're taking advantage of our neighborhood with your excessively loud music. From now on, I intend to be a persistent voice regarding this noise issue. It seems that the poorer the band, the louder the music gets, perhaps to distract patrons from their lack of talent. A truly good band wouldn’t need to blast their sound to be heard from such a distance. I urge you to turn the music down, or be prepared for more frequent visits from law enforcement.

The band was great, but the bartender was quite rude. She seems to be doing everything possible to make the place unsuccessful.

We went for karaoke and had a good time. I like that they have enough space, you can move around. We need to go back when there's a band and dancing. Can't comment on food. We've never eaten there.

Liked the old west atmosphere. The band that evening was great. The only part that could have been better was if they had draft beers. Plus, a variety of beers would have been nice, too. Seemed to only carry canned domestic beer.
