Very skimpy on everything except the bread...really disappointed this time.
The food is always good. Love the cheese bread. Great service, made just the way I like it.
There were only 2 workers they did a wonderful job. Actually faster than when they have had 3 workers there.
Yeah- in case you didn 't see, Paw Paw has two Subway restaurants now- the original, out on the main drag, and now this one, inside the Walmart. I 'd always passed it, always smelled the wonderful smells coming out of it- I mean, hey, who hasn 't wanted a quick little pick-me-up before or after a long trip shopping a Wal-Mart? I was in the store to get a few things, and noticed that my belly was rumbling just a bit, and figured it was as good a reason as any to stop on in and check things out. If you 're having trouble finding this place, it 's actually very easy- you pull into the Paw Paw Wal-Mart, walk through the doors, and look off to the right as you 're coming in. It 's right there, a full-service Subway. Glancing around, I could honestly say this is one place that takes its cleanliness pretty seriously. I didn 't see a discarded wrapper or lettuce on the ground or even a crumble of bread on a table. There were plenty of people- both shoppers and Wal-Mart employees- in enjoying a nice bite of sandwich, and that 's always a good sign- if the employees use it, then you know it 's pretty decent! Customer service... well, the girl behind the counter was pretty quick, but she had to ask me just what came on the two sliders I was getting for my little snack meal deal- two sliders and a medium drink for $5. I mean... I know Subway has a lot of sandwiches, and you 're supposed to pick a base of meats and go from there, but if the sandwich maker has to ask me what comes on the pre-assembled sliders, well... I mean, there 's no little cheat sheet or something they can give them to go off of behind the counter? But anyways, I place my order- the italian slider and the cheesesteak slider, both toasted. The food prep is actually pretty quick once we figure out what goes on them, and before long, I have my wonderful little sandwiches in a basket in front of me, along with a drink- and the first thing that flies into my mind is: '...this is five bucks worth of food? ' Two little sliders that maybe give me three small bites each and a soda I could have gotten bigger for cheaper from Wal-Mart? Don 't get me wrong, the sliders weren 't bad, but the rolls do tend to toughen up when baked, and you might have to bite once or twice to get through the bottoms. I liked the sauce on the cheesesteak one, too- I want to try a full-size sub with the same toppings on it, if I could. Honestly, if you 're looking for a good bite, you can 't really go wrong here! I just don 't know if Paw Paw has enough business for two Subways...
