Maktub Pub - Paul Do Mar

I was here for a drink and the sunset only. Really nice vibe and great place to watch the sunset. The assortment of drinks is quite basic (no special cocktails other than mojito), but that’s fine for me. Very reasonable priced! Will definitely come again next time I visit Madeira!

Very nice and particular place facing the ocean with proposals based on the availability of the day, in our case you could choose between a fish dish, three meat dishes and a vegan one. Also as starters the choice was king prawns, octopus salad and a vegan alternative. All fresh and very good, service ok. Correct price also considering the position from which you can enjoy a spectacular sunset. Price per person: €30–35 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Friendly staff and great steak and mojitos! Definitely recommend it and when I come back to madeira I'll be coming back to Maktub

Great food. Changing small menu that always has a vegan entree and main (the other is a meat option and fish option). The mains come with a board of sides. I had the vegan chicken curry. Great mojitos and caipirinhas. The lady that served us was very nice. The guy that seats people and works the bar is very unwelcoming. Price per person: €35–40 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Lovely food, tasty and well made with lovely fresh herbs and flavours. Light, fresh. Great mojitos and caipirina, fun music and young cool atmosphere. Staff seems happy, helpful and passionate about their work. Thank you guys.
