The Atchafalaya At Idlewild - Patterson

The food at this restaurant was delicious, but the business practices were lacking. I called ahead to place an order for takeout and was not informed over the phone that the side order of fried shrimp only included 6 small shrimp. I was told it cost $7. When my friend went to pick up the food as soon as it was ready, she checked the order and the serving size at the counter. She was surprised to find that the shrimp portion was only 6 pieces and asked why.

The pork ribeye was superb and the service was fantastic.

The dining experience was fantastic, we tried a variety of dishes and they were all delicious. The service was excellent as well, Teresa took care of us and didn't miss a beat. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we will definitely be returning.
