Takshila - Hotel Chanakya - Patna

Yesterday (21/6/17) we visited this place for dinner. It is on the first floor of Hotel Chanakya. I have been to the hotel a few many times but this was my first visit to the restaurant. It's décor is average at best. It has sitting capacity of 50 pax. We were given a table. What struck me was for a restaurant which is supposedly under luxury dining has chairs which are not comfortable at all. We could not lean on the chairs as the support was made of just cloth (no steel/wooden frame to support) just like the typical chairs you find on any movie sets (director's chair). We had seated for at least 20 mins then we realised no one coming to attend us. By then it was 9:30 PM. We asked for at least water to be served and menu card to be given. Serving us Bottled water tool another 5 mins. We again asked for the menu and order to be taken. We were done ordering by 9:45. We orderd Chicken Hot & Sour soup, chicken shorba and tamatar shorba. For starters we ordered Peshawari tandoori murga and corn sheek kabab. For main course we orderd Rara ghost, Kadai Murg an d Mushroom matar masala. For breads we orderd Cheese naan and butter naan. We even orderd Green salad and raita. After almost 30 MINUTES, when we inquired, waiter told us he will chcek and vanished. This happened with other waiters and until we started yelling at the head waiter there was no respite. We were server soups and then they forget us for another 15 minutes. By then we had lost all patience, it was not just us yelling at the waiters but from different tables and all corners. Almost after 10:45 PM, we were served main course. As the naan were getting over, We asked the waiter if all the naan were served for which he replied he will check and vanished. It took another round of yelling to get the remaining portion of naan already ordered. By the way they got salad and raita when we were almost finished, which we rightfully returned. By 11 PM we done with the restaurant with a bill of Rs. 4700+. We paid the bill but there was no apology for the service and we left.

Am intrat și am așteptat la nesfârșit după apă și meniu. Chelnerul a venit în cele din urmă și a fost grosolan. „Dekh nahi rahe hain ki busy hain” este răspunsul pe care l-a găsit potrivit. Experiență absolut acră. Ultima vizită în acest loc.
