This a very simple pizza and pasta place in our beautiful little village. It has tables inside and outside under cover and serves a dozen or so standard pizzas plus pasta dishes and ice-cream. Very happy to accommodate my vegan daughter. The food is freshly cooked, always hot and tasty, with thin crispy pizza bases. Very good value for money.
We were staying local and thought we would try this out as it looks good when passing in the car. However it's not quite what it seems. The inside is very much like a caff as a previous reviewer mentioned,Apart from us and a group of young mothers with children no one else was dinning more like a meeting place than restaurant. However we tried the pizzas which as it turned out were better than I had expected not the best but not bad at all. This pizzeria has great potential but as it is at the moment lacks walk in appeal.
After a 15 km hike on a mild day in Umbria, and a last stretch up a steep surfaced main street, nothing could have been more welcome to our tired legs than this little roadside pizzeria we collapsed into it for a delicious pizza margherita and two long glasses of chilled Porretti 4. Crust and topping were excellent and the beer, obviously, went down a treat. All served by a very friendly and helpful redhead.
This a very simple pizza and pasta place in this beautiful little village. It is basically a caff (for non-UK readers, a simple cafe-type place, usually for workers and labourers) which serves a dozen or so standard pizzas plus pasta (not on the menu you are given but available when you ask for it). The thing is, the food is really first class, utterly freshly cooked for you, hot and tasty. Not complicated for sure, but you know when it is good. And very good value; two of us paid 18 Euro including water and a quarter of wine. Cant ask for more really.
